This map shows the results of modeling the ambulance stations availability in the city of Graz (Austria) and its surroundings.
🗺️ Different colors represent areas to which the road from the nearest
ambulance station will take less than 5
, from 5 to 10
, from 10 to 15
minutes, and so on. Separate parts of residential areas
that are located at a dangerous distance from the nearest ambulance station
are calculated and shown.
🚑 The calculations were made considering the configuration of the transportation network and road types, but under ideal conditions, where the ambulance vehicle departs immediately after the call and its path is not affected by anything.
⚙️ The modeling of transportation accessibility through the road graph and spatial analysis were performed using QGIS.
